Distance Healing with Reiki

Distance healing is a beautiful way of receiving the powerful healing of Reiki. It also shows how connected we all are and that Reiki can be received by anyone and anywhere in the world.

How to prepare for your distance healing session

  1. Relax – Relax your body and mind at least 30 minutes before the session
  2. Be open – Allow the healing to take place by being open to receiving
  3. Meditation music – You can choose to play some music which will help you become more peaceful and relaxed
  4. Lay down – You may need to cover yourself with a light blanket. You may experience temperature changes during the session.
  5. Close your eyes and enjoy! – The session usually takes between 20-40 minutes

What to expect during a Distance Healing session

Each person will experience the healing very differently. It’s important to not have any expectations and just allow the healing to take place and trust that the healing will go to where it is needed the most.

It is very common for people to fall asleep during the session. This is perfectly fine as whether you are awake or asleep, you will still receive the healing.

The session will leave you feeling calmer and very relaxed. It is recommended that you keep well hydrated before and after the session. You may also experience more than normal fatigue, This is the healing taking place so listen to your body and rest.
